BIG AIR WAKEBOARDING IS BACK!

Details are scarce at this point, but we are very excited to announce the return of Big Air Wakeboarding for 2016!
Big Air an event that was previously sponsored by Red Bull entitled "Rising High" featuring a landing ramp which first debuted at Red Bull Rising High in Hamberg, Germany On June 23, 2013. It was a ground-breaking event in the sport of wakeboarding, much like the introduction of the Megaramp to skateboarding allowing riders to go higher and farther than ever before. A few months later a landing ramp was built in the United States and debuted at Red Bull Wake Open in Tampa Bay, FL. Unfortunately Red Bull dropped the Wake Open event the following year but they did have one last Rising High event in 2014, this time in Hamm, Germany, where Brad Smeele landed the first ever Double Tantrum-to-Blind.
After a one year hiatus the Big Air event is back and it's back on one of the largest stages in the world alongside the third stop of Street League Skateboarding and Mountain Bike Slopestyle at Olympiapark in Munich, Germany at the 3rd annual MASH Action Sports and Music Festival on July 1-3. Last years event attracted over 67,000 visitors in good weather.
This year 16 professional riders will be invited to compete at the event including defending champion Dominik Guhrs, as well as Nico von Lerchenfeld, Brenton Priestley and Daniel Grant. the full list of invited riders has yet to be released.
